In partnership with Fishbone Ministries, iRise will offer support groups for those struggling with bullying, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance use,
self-harm, or any other mental health struggles.
Jacob’s House is slated to open Summer, 2019.
Survivor Support Group
Those who lose a loved one to suicide experience a unique type of grief. The purpose of this group is to offer a safe environment for survivors to come together, finding support with others who have suffered such devastating loss. Facilitated by a licensed professional counselor, different topics will be covered at each meeting. Registration is not required. More information here
iRise to Pray
If your congregation has experienced a suicide, please reach out so that we may pray for you. We are also able to come in and offer support through various resources such as:
iRise to Speak
Available to organizations, schools, churches, community events. Kristie Knights, Founder and CEO of iRise, brings a wealth of knowledge, and experience from her clinical practice, to help educate and raise awareness regarding mental health struggles.
Walk for Tyler
Beginning in September, 2019, in collaboration with the Barger family, iRise will sponsor an annual Walk in memory of Tyler Barger, a young man who tragically lost his battle with depression in March, 2018. Proceeds will benefit iRise in its ongoing efforts to eradicate suicide.
